Sometimes encouragement comes through the door at Your Celebration Station. This time it came through a man who’d spent 26 years as a French-speaking missionary to Quebec, Haiti and the Congo, where he, along with 45,000 other Nazarenes, were on the receiving end of the great Ruwanda Exodus and learning how to provide food and shelter for 2 million Tutsis.
Rev. Harry Rich, also, served 18 years pastoring churches in Kansas, Boston, and Missouri. The 95-year-old Nazarene told us with a voice of authority and his hand gesturing a finger in our faces- “Don’t give up. Never give up!” He said, “This is how I spell consecration; a-v-a i-l-a-b-l-e.”
